Timothy J. Cahill
Chief Executive Officer

Timothy J. Cahill is the Founder and CEO of Cahill Realty, a real estate investment management firm headquartered in Los Angeles, California.  Tim has led the growth of the Firm from its inception in 2007 to its current position as one of the leading acquirers of mid-size apartment communities in secondary markets within California.  In his capacity as CEO, Tim directs the overall investment strategy of the Firm and has responsibility for selecting and underwriting acquisition targets, raising equity capital from investors, and managing acquired assets during their lifecycle.  He has also built from the ground up the property management organization that oversees and manages all of Cahill Realty’s multifamily investments.  Prior to founding Cahill Realty in 2007, Tim was the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Frontera Corporation, an Internet startup incubated out of idealab.  Prior to Frontera, he was the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of publicly traded 7th Level, Inc., an Internet technology and multimedia services company.  Tim began his career in 1993 as a real estate lawyer at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, one of California’s largest law firms. 

Tim holds a BA degree from Stanford University and a JD from The University of Texas School of Law, and he is also a licensed real estate broker in the state of California.
